Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at a College health center in Boston, Mass.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for immunization review and administration, documentation, and independent vaccine administration with standing orders. Additionally, they will room patients, conduct vital signs, and perform other rooming tasks, including POC testing and vitals. The candidate will also assist with flu clinics, vaccine administration, and some administrative tasks, such as stocking and inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Immunization review and administration
  • Documentation
  • Independent vaccine administration with standing orders
  • Rooming patients, including calling from the waiting room, taking vitals, and other rooming tasks
  • Flu clinics, including vaccine administration
  • Some administrative tasks, such as assisting with stocking and inventory

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain confidentiality.

Working Hours:

The position will require working 24-35 hours per week, with varying shifts, including Monday 8 am to 5 pm, Tuesday 8 am to 8 pm, Wednesday 1-5 pm, Thursday 8 am to 8 pm, and Friday 8 am to 8 pm.
