About the Role

Uprite Construction Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preliminary Planning: Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project records, including blueprints, designs, and change orders, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communication and Coordination: Work closely with on-site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and efficient project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Engage in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the construction process meets company and regulatory standards.
  • Project Site Visits: Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress, ensure adherence to timeframes and quality standards, and identify potential issues.
  • Resource Management: Ensure timely ordering and availability of materials and resources to avoid project delays.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on California construction regulations and ensure all projects comply with state standards and guidelines.
  • Post-Project Analysis: Collaborate with teams to analyze project outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes for future projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably in the construction sector.
  • Skills: Knowledge of construction software, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools; exceptional communication and collaboration skills; strong problem-solving skills; and keen attention to detail.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of California construction regulations and standards.
