Location: Chicago
Job Type: Temporary, 13 weeks
Shift Details: 8-hour days, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week
About the Assignment:
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic laboratory environment, providing high-quality testing and analysis services to patients. As a travel laboratory professional, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and technologies, and collaborate with a team of experienced laboratory professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing and analysis, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, microscopes, and other instruments
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely test results
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
- 1+ year of experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
