Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer III to support the development and operations of our New Glenn launch vehicle. As a key member of our systems engineering team, you'll be responsible for managing risks, issues, and opportunities, and leading mitigation strategies and burndown plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the risk database and facilitate risk review boards
  • Coach team members through the risk process
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies to mitigate risks to the program's technical requirements, assets, cost/schedule baselines, and safety
  • Build trusting and effective working relationships that improve team performance and deliver results
  • Communicate complex system dependencies and impacts to senior leadership
Requirements
  • B.S./M.S. degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Systems Development, or Systems Integration experience
  • Ability to assimilate technical engineering information quickly and summarize concisely
  • Proven ability to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies to mitigate risks
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting and effective working relationships
  • Highly adaptable in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Tableau
  • 3+ years of direct Risk Management experience
  • Involvement with multiple portions of an aerospace product life cycle
