Role Summary: The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role within our organization, concentrating on the management, inventory, and distribution of products related to Wizards of the Coast trading card games. This position encompasses a range of duties, from ensuring precise inventory records to the meticulous packing and dispatching of orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily selection and replenishment of Magic: The Gathering singles, ensuring alignment between physical stock and digital records.
  • Preparation and packaging of customer orders.
  • Verification of orders for accuracy prior to shipment.
  • Management of special customer requests, notes, and returns.
  • Achievement of team-oriented targets for service agreements.
  • Conducting regular quality assurance checks and audits within the proprietary inventory system, including sorting cards by set and title multiple times daily.
  • Assisting in the processing, auditing, and restocking of various inventories.
  • Creating, selecting, and shipping products to retail locations.
  • Managing incoming product releases.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to vendors, mail carriers, and internal teams.
  • Operating and troubleshooting card sorting machines, order verification systems, and collation equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Utilizing warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, in compliance with safety standards.
  • Employing Warehouse Management System (WMS) or other ERP systems for inventory management and transfers.
  • Maintaining a safe and efficient workspace, following company safety regulations, and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Developing and sustaining knowledge of Magic: The Gathering products and gameplay.
  • Participating in team meetings, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Collaborating effectively both independently and within a team to address challenges and devise solutions.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of Card Operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Familiarity with electronic inventory management systems and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with experience in executing repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A positive attitude and a self-driven approach to continuously improve performance.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic warehouse environment and eagerness to learn new tasks and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity with consistent fine finger manipulation.
  • Ability to stand and work on hard surfaces for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.
  • Frequent wrist flexion/extension in repetitive motions.
  • Occasional squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting may be required.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Working Environment:

  • This position involves working in a warehouse setting and may require operating machinery and equipment while adhering to all safety regulations.

Job Type/Compensation:

  • Full Time, scheduled for 40 hours per week, with set shifts including two consecutive weekend days.
  • Shift will be PM (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) with non-traditional, mid-week days off for weekends.
  • Overtime may be required, especially for special projects, product releases, and peak periods.
  • Non-Exempt: $20.00 per hour, $21.50 per hour after 90 days.
  • Pay Range: $20.00 per hour - $24.25 per hour based on tenure.
  • This is a union position represented by UFCW3000.
