Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
  • Manage the construction project budget, ensuring all work is carried out within the stipulated financial parameters.
  • Lead and manage the construction team, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.
  • Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure plans and specifications are followed accurately.
  • Conduct quality control checks regularly to ensure the work is in compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that occur on the construction site in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Prepare and submit regular project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Implement risk management procedures to minimize project delays and costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction management role with multi-family experience required.
  • Proven experience in budget management and team leadership.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Proficient in using construction management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
