Overview

Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Technician I to join our team in College Station, Texas. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in the preparation of buffers and medium from stock raw materials, ensuring the highest quality and purity of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare buffers and medium from stock raw materials, including compounding, mixing, testing, and filtration.
  • Weigh raw materials per batch record specifications and assign appropriate expiry dates.
  • Perform integrity testing of filters.
  • Assist senior staff in implementing project safety and quality assurance programs.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary company information.
  • Document and maintain activity records according to cGMP regulations.
  • Operate general production equipment, including Autoclaves, Glass washers, Incubators, Analytical Scales, pH/conductivity meters, etc.
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of the laboratory and manufacturing areas.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with others.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related field; or High School Diploma/GED with some continuing education and previous work experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to train others to perform to cGMP standards.
  • Good self-discipline and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible work hours, including weekends and alternative shift hours.

  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
