About the Role

We are seeking a skilled SMT Assembly Technician to join our team at Arbin Instruments. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling circuit boards and utilizing SMT and thru-hole soldering techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and follow production drawings and work orders to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Perform soldering duties, including pre-wave assembly, through-hole, and surface mount.
  • Prepare components using various lead-forming tools.
  • Connect or route component lead wires between individual component leads or other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  • Perform online visual inspection and produce products to an acceptable production level.
  • Ensure quality of product, conformance to designated process controls, and written procedures, and maintain efficiency to comply with schedule requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of SMT inspection experience on component identification.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical, pre-wave assembly, through-hole, surface mount, electronic component identification, and performing reworks on printed circuits boards.
