We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Home of the Flint Hills LLC. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide direct personal care services to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities- Administer medication to residents in accordance with state regulations and training standards
- Provide skilled personal assistance with bathing, dressing, oral care, grooming, and other daily living activities
- Assure that all resident care logs, charts, records, and journals are kept current
- Report any changes, accidents, or incidents involving a resident to a supervisor immediately
- Keep the home clean, orderly, organized, and safe at all times
- Prepare meals according to menu plans and follow the daily schedule
- Provide focused individual resident interaction and activities in accordance with each resident's assessment and care plan
- Currently certified and in good standing by the State of Kansas as a Certified Medication Aide or equivalent
- Successful completion of HOTFH Orientation and Training Programs
- Ability to lift, bend, squat, kneel, twist, and push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
