Speech Therapy Lead

Job Summary:
The Speech Therapy Lead will oversee the delivery of high-quality speech therapy services to clients, ensuring that all services are rendered in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Program Manager. This role requires strong leadership and clinical skills, with a focus on maintaining a flexible and dynamic schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Management: Manage a dynamic schedule, ensuring a minimum of 18-23 hours of billable time per week.
- Client Evaluation and Care Planning: Evaluate client level of function, develop and revise plans of care as necessary.
- Documentation: Complete evaluation and progress notes documentation within 5 business days and daily notes within 48 business hours.
- Communication: Advise and consult with families and other agency personnel.
- Continuing Education: Participate in continuing education programs as required by State, Federal, and Accrediting bodies.
- Policies and Procedures: Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Client Care Planning: Participate with all other healthcare personnel in client care planning.
- Discharge Planning: Complete a discharge summary upon completion of therapy services.
- Incident Reporting: Immediately report to the Program Manager any client incidents or complaints.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties as agreed upon.
- Program Development: Participate in program development and quality assurance measures.
- Mentorship: Oversee the mentorship program for the Speech Team and provide coaching and support to other CFYs/STs.
- Leadership: Perform leadership duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Working Environment: Works indoors in Agency office/clinic. May be required to drive between clinic locations.
