Key Responsibilities- Take vital signs and assist patients with basic hygiene and activities of daily living
- Perform simple arithmetic calculations and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, and Medical Center employees
- Participate in ongoing education relative to the role and maintain certification as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maine
- CNA experience 0-6 months
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Knowledge of standards, policies, procedures, and organizational structure of the unit and Maine Medical Center
