Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nursing Assistant to join our team at MaineHealth. As a Clinical Nursing Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and perform various service duties and technical tasks. This is a per diem opportunity, and you will be working in the Malone Family Tower.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take vital signs and assist patients with basic hygiene and activities of daily living
  • Perform simple arithmetic calculations and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, and Medical Center employees
  • Participate in ongoing education relative to the role and maintain certification as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maine
Requirements
  • CNA experience 0-6 months
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Knowledge of standards, policies, procedures, and organizational structure of the unit and Maine Medical Center
