Job Summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Inspector A&P to join our team in Quality Assurance. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft and components, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Aircraft Inspection and Certification: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA-approved data.
  2. Quality Control Management: Oversee and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and complete documentation of work performed on aircraft and components.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with technicians, management, and other stakeholders to identify and address quality control issues, and to ensure timely completion of projects.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  5. Training and Development: Mentor technicians on effective documentation and quality control procedures.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; Airframe and Powerplant License required; 4 years of aircraft experience on large/mid-size aircraft.
  2. Skills and Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks; strong computer skills; ability to work all shifts; ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, and lift up to 40 lbs.
