Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Dollar General. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Operate the cash register and scanner to accurately ring up sales and handle customer transactions.
  • Stock and maintain merchandise displays, including unpacking, stocking, and rotating merchandise on shelves.
  • Clean and maintain the store, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting floors, as well as cleaning restrooms and receiving areas.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle cash and operate a cash register.
