Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health Unit Coordinator to join our team at Windom Area Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to nursing staff
  • Register patients, clean instruments, and maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and greeting visitors
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • CNA, Medical Assistant, or medical secretary background preferred
  • Experience in healthcare preferred
  • Ability to work night shifts (7pm-7am) Friday-Sunday and rotating holidays

Windom Area Health is a 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located in a rural area. We provide specialty outreach services, emergency room, laboratory, and imaging services 24 hours a day. Our mission is to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our community.
