Senior Epic Application Analyst

About the Role:
Exact Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Senior Epic Application Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and configuring business systems, upgrades, and improvements for assigned technology platforms. Your expertise in Epic Systems will enable you to identify and resolve issues that arise in the application area, as well as those that impact other application teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the estimation of enhancement or support requests.
- Guide workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyze technical issues.
- Liaise with business systems stakeholders and software vendor's implementation staff, ensuring alignment of business needs with delivery of systems changes.
- Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows; proactively identify opportunities to improve business workflow with technology improvements.
- Participate in training and work with end users.
- Troubleshoot problems and questions.
- Provide end-user support for issues entered into tracking systems.
- Review the status of projects and issues with project leadership.
- Assign or delegate configuration or other activities to Application Analysts or Managed Services team members.
- Act as delegate for Applications Manager for incident or problem resolution.
- Provide mentorship for other peers and leadership to solve problems, even if it's outside of their normal responsibilities/scope.
- Be a leader on internal process design and documentation to drive continuous improvement for the IT department or team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field; or high school degree/general education diploma and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions, either in an application analyst or project delivery role and Subject Matter Expert in one or more of the following areas: patient identification workflows in the healthcare setting, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.
- Possession of or ability to obtain relevant Epic software application(s) certification within 8 weeks of hire.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience configuring, installing, and optimizing Epic EHR systems and back-end CRM processes.
- Possession of at least one relevant Epic software application certification, with a preference for Epic Call Center Management.
- Experience working with Epic CRM or other Customer Relationship Management systems.
- Knowledge of call center workflows, key performance metrics, and technical solutions.
