Job Description:

As a Regional Client Care Manager, you will play a critical role in leading disaster response and recovery efforts in your assigned geographic area. This position requires a strong leader who can build and manage a team of volunteers to provide comfort, care, and direct assistance to families affected by disasters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a diverse team of volunteers to implement disaster cycle services programming throughout the assigned geographic area.
  • Develop and support disaster volunteers who are the primary workforce, and representative of the communities they serve, both culturally and linguistically.
  • Initiate and coordinate disaster relief operations in the assigned geographic area, or functional activities in the region, in alignment with the Disaster Cycle Services Concept of Operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building, mobilizing, leading, and developing volunteer teams to execute a social services program or service.
  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Must have great Organizational skills.
  • Driven.
  • Experience with training volunteers.
  • Experience working with and leading volunteers.
  • Casework & recovery experience.
