We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accounting Associate 2 to join our team at State Street Corporation. Key Responsibilities- Complete daily processing and monitoring of fund activities, including preparing and reviewing periodic bank and cash reconciliations.
- Prepare fund trial balances and supporting workpapers, and assist in managing internal workflow to ensure internal processing and client deadlines are met.
- Work with other services departments to resolve errors/issues or to reconcile discrepancies, and establish and maintain good working relationships with internal clients and colleagues.
- Ensure all processes are in line with the SLA and escalate if necessary, and participate in special client or internal projects as required.
- Assist in new business setup and conversions, and identify any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines.
- College diploma or university degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word, and knowledge of Bloomberg is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and proactive approach to problem solving, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player and collaborative, with a strong work ethic and ability to work within deadlines.
