About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accounting Associate 2 to join our team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing daily processing and monitoring of fund activities, preparing and reviewing periodic bank and cash reconciliations, and ensuring all processes are in line with the SLA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily processing and monitoring of fund activities, including preparing and reviewing periodic bank and cash reconciliations.
  • Prepare fund trial balances and supporting workpapers, and assist in managing internal workflow to ensure internal processing and client deadlines are met.
  • Work with other services departments to resolve errors/issues or to reconcile discrepancies, and establish and maintain good working relationships with internal clients and colleagues.
  • Ensure all processes are in line with the SLA and escalate if necessary, and participate in special client or internal projects as required.
  • Assist in new business setup and conversions, and identify any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines.
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word, and knowledge of Bloomberg is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive approach to problem solving, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player and collaborative, with a strong work ethic and ability to work within deadlines.
