Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping individuals recover and regain their mobility.

Department Details

  • Department: Acute Rehabilitation
  • Schedule: Part-time, with shifts from Tuesday to Friday, 2 PM to 8 PM; one weekend day per month and one holiday per year required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and implement medically prescribed physical therapy treatment plans.
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions.
  • Develop, modify, and assess a tailored plan of care that addresses identified issues, involving patients and their families in the process.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions using established physical therapy techniques suitable for each patient's condition.
  • Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and other support staff.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Current BLS Provider certification required within one month of hire or transfer.
  • Rehabilitation Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credential from the relevant regulatory body required prior to employment.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
