PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Commission Operations Specialist undertakes a diverse array of tasks that may include, but are not limited to:
• Gaining proficiency in commission management systems utilizing a combination of Excel, NetSuite, Salesforce, and Terrapin/Pandia/Domo, including entering commission data, updating the status of existing policies, processing payments, and reviewing reports.
• Maintaining the sales organizational structure and implementing necessary adjustments due to production tier levels, new hires, terminations, or split case sales.
• Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of commission data, which necessitates keen attention to detail.
• Assisting in the maintenance of Pandia and Salesforce data integrity, monitoring for errors and resolving them promptly.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to research and verify the status of existing insurance policies, financial accounts, and other products offered by the company.
• Managing DTCC (Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation) commission feed-related tasks.
• Engaging with sales representatives, including monthly reporting, date inquiries, and problem resolution.
• Preparing and analyzing quarterly production bonuses for sales representatives and their service teams.
• Analyzing and presenting sales performance results.
• Preparing annual budgets by representative and line of business.
• Other assignments and responsibilities as necessary.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Science and Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of analytical experience.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality with client and internal staff information.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the wealth management sector.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems, particularly NetSuite.
• Proficient with Salesforce CRM; experience with Financial Services Cloud is advantageous.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced computer software skills, including the ability to write macros in Excel and other accounting packages.
• A desire to continuously learn, undertake a wide range of tasks, and grow with our company.
