The Lead Mortgage Processing Specialist plays a crucial role in managing appraisal and contractor disbursements, overseeing mortgage loss mitigation services, and delivering Guaranteed Loan Support along with exceptional Customer Service. This position necessitates proficiency in Spanish and the successful completion of a customer background verification for access.
Core Qualifications
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential for effective communication with clients, along with U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status for compliance and security reasons.
Primary Responsibilities
- Obtains necessary information from Insurance Providers via phone communication.
- Handles various tasks within LoanServ.
- Maintains and updates insurance records in LoanServ.
- Processes payments to insurance entities.
- Manages and imports documentation in the Electronic Customer File.
- Prepares and logs comprehensive system notes in Sagent.
- Conducts account research and resolves issues.
- Evaluates and processes Debt Settlement documentation.
- Distributes debt settlement applications.
- Handles charge-off procedures and debt cancellations.
Educational Background and Experience
A Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Job-Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional customer service capabilities, organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
