As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll be empowered to lead with heart, displaying genuine care for our patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues. You'll be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, overseeing the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Patient Safety: Ensuring the well-being of our patients through adherence to strict safety protocols.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Maintaining the highest standards of pharmacy practice, adhering to regulatory requirements, and promoting quality assurance.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the pharmacy operates within the bounds of the law.
  • Quality Assurance: Implementing processes to ensure the quality of care, services, and products we provide.
  • Customer Service: Delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication, empathy, and problem-solving.
  • Personnel Management: Supervising, guiding, and developing your Pharmacy Support Staff to optimize their performance and well-being.
  • Inventory Management: Overseeing the management of inventory, supplies, and resources to ensure seamless operations.
  • Financial Profitability: Managing costs, analyzing data, and implementing strategies to drive financial growth and profitability.
  • Loss Prevention: Identifying and mitigating risks to minimize losses and protect the pharmacy's assets.

As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll be required to:

  • Lead with Heart: Displaying empathy and compassion for our patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
  • Motivate, Inspire, and Develop: Motivating, inspiring, and developing your Pharmacy Support Staff to optimize their performance and growth.
  • Identify Critical Business Opportunities: Recognizing areas for improvement and contributing to the development of meaningful solutions to drive growth and enhance performance.
  • Successfully Implement Solutions: Leading your team to achieve specified goals and objectives.
  • Adapt to Change: Thriving in a dynamic community healthcare setting and adjusting plans to ensure continuous improvement.

Required qualifications include:

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA).
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
