Elderwood is seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Care Aide/Home Health Aide to join our clinical team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, and transferring.
- Provide medication management and administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Respond to residents' requests and needs in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document resident care and progress, as well as report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
