Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Tronox. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial services, maintaining and improving business systems, procedures, and controls to meet the needs of internal departments, internal and external auditors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial analysis and support to project teams, including cost tracking, financial analysis, and prioritization.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to meet business objectives.
  • Support accurate project forecasting, including projected costs and benefits.
  • Assist in implementing new accounting policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and review expenditures, confirm proper allocation of expenses to departments, and report as necessary.
  • Maintain effective key controls and SOX compliance.
  • Accurately record transactions, accruals, reallocations, and reconciliations.
  • Perform monthly price, volume, and efficiency analysis for the site.
  • Conduct fixed cost analysis by cost center for various operational units.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end close and reporting.

Requirements
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • BS degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 5+ years of Accounting and Project Analyst experience required.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and experience generating project reports.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven time management skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Ability to build partnerships in a collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional human relations skills required.
