About the Role

Broadstep Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Nurse Supervisor to join our team at our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility in Kingstree, SC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the PRTF, ensuring client and staff safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to Broadstep policies.
  • Effectively plan work to correlate with available staff and workload, utilizing staff working non-standard shifts to their fullest capacity.
  • Assist in attaining adequate staffing for current and upcoming shifts.
  • Assign individual and procedures based on staff competency level.
  • Assist in recreational activities as needed, supporting clients and staff.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory agency requirements, environment of care standards, and PRTF policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate activities safely and effectively in high acuity, emergency, and disaster situations.
  • Serve as a clinical resource person for staff, role model advanced clinical skills, and practice standards of care and facility-based computer systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, streamline or redesign current workflow processes, and coordinate specialty equipment needs and issues.
  • Role model exemplary leadership behaviors aligned with Broadstep Core Values.
Requirements
  • Valid and current South Carolina RN licensure.
  • One-year related staff nurse experience in a hospital/acute setting.
  • Considerable ability to provide leadership, plan, organize, delegate, and outline activities for the facility.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm and flexible in stressful situations.
  • Approachable and proactive conflict resolution skills.
