Position Overview

The Relationship Manager (RM) acts as the primary liaison for a designated portfolio of high-value or Tier 1 clients within the Financial Crimes sector. The RM is tasked with optimizing revenue through strategic cross-selling and upselling initiatives within their client base. They are responsible for formulating and implementing strategic account plans while nurturing overall client relationships. As the chief advocate for the client within ACAMS, the RM is dedicated to fostering, expanding, and retaining client partnerships.

In this capacity, the RM ensures effective coordination within ACAMS and, when necessary, facilitates collaboration among key stakeholders within the client's organization. The RM is accountable for achieving or surpassing revenue and attachment rate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulates comprehensive Account Strategies aimed at safeguarding and enhancing revenue for each client in their portfolio.

• Orchestrates the deployment of organizational resources to fulfill each Account Strategy.

• Employs tools, processes, and methodologies to guide the client's purchasing journey, crafting solutions that align with their business needs.

• Manages the overall client relationship, serving as the primary advocate for the client within ACAMS, while actively seeking and pursuing cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize client value.

• Cultivates, strengthens, and elevates strategic relationships between ACAMS and the client, with an emphasis on driving growth, ensuring retention, and establishing senior-level connections.

• Requires 25-40% domestic and international travel and must reside in specified locations.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• At least 5 years of experience managing Tier 1 clients in the financial services sector.

• Profound understanding of financial services, including market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscapes.

• Proven track record in business development roles, particularly with high-value or Tier 1 clients, demonstrating the ability to generate significant revenue and manage enterprise-level relationships.

• Expertise in building and sustaining relationships with senior executives, delivering compelling value propositions, and negotiating effectively.

• Demonstrated capability to convert opportunities into revenue by providing insights to clients, developing prospects, closing deals, and meeting sales targets.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM is essential.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows-based applications.

• Effective personal goal setting and time management skills.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving industry, adapting strategies as necessary to meet client and market demands.
