Ultrasound Technologist Multi Reg PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist Multi Reg PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and non-invasive vascular procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Assure the highest degree of quality performance and patient care to patients of all ages.
  • Photograph images of organs and remove strip printouts from equipment to obtain permanent records.
  • Work collaboratively with the ultrasound team to meet departmental needs.
  • Travel to satellite facilities as needed for staffing requirements.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctioning devices.
  • Transport patients as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • ARDMS Abdomen/OB or ARRT(S) registry required.
  • New graduates must obtain ARDMS (RVT) or ARRT (VS) vascular certification within one year of graduation.
  • OB/GYN, Abdominal, and Small parts experience required; Neurological and limited vascular experience preferred.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS certification required.
