About the Role

Pactiv Evergreen is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team at our Hazleton, PA facility. As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform quality measurements and interpret data to make necessary adjustments to the manufacturing process.
  • Operate and adjust machines to optimize production and minimize downtime.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, generating work orders and documenting downtime as needed.
  • Collaborate with process technicians and other support staff to ensure maximum quality levels and machine uptime.
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
