Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing stakeholders to design and develop innovative solutions
  • Produce pragmatic and optimally designed end-to-end solutions to complex problem sets
  • Coach junior engineers and ensure best design and coding practices are followed
  • Contribute to changes that improve team velocity and efficiency

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience building highly scalable and distributed Java or Kotlin applications
  • Expertise in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
  • Full stack engineering experience with a little UI work
  • Solid experience in the data layer including SQL, caching strategies, and relational databases
  • Working knowledge of web frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot
  • Experience writing unit tests using frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing containerized applications/services with Kubernetes
  • Experience building and deploying applications in cloud infrastructures like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with React
