About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at MUSC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that offers up to $25,000 in sign-on bonuses, paid parental leave, state health benefits, pension plan, PTO, and sick time accruals, free telehealth visits, education assistance, and more

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
  • Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age/developmentally appropriate care
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and healing environment through ensuring patient privacy and responsive behavior
  • Contribute to shared governance, adhere to standards of care, participate in peer review, and promote leadership and clinical excellence
  • Clinically prioritize and improve patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing
  • Previous Emergency Department experience preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse license issued by the LLR Board of Nursing for South Carolina or Compact Licensure Agreement
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
