Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or APRN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at MUSC Health - PeeDee Division - Marion Medical Center. The successful candidate will provide direct care to patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing their expertise in emergency medicine.

About the Job

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, offering a competitive salary of $$120,000-$180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Our hospital provides a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Takes comprehensive histories and performs physical examinations to assess patient needs.
  • Evaluates and treats patients based on history, physical examination, radiological, laboratory, and other diagnostic test results.
  • Initiates referrals to other healthcare providers, consults with attending physicians, and documents patient care provided.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited PA program and current licensure as a PA, or completion of an accredited NP program and current licensure as an APRN.
  • Prior experience in emergency medicine as a PA or NP is preferred, with at least 2 years of experience in the ER.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FNP certification with ENP certification, or current ENP certification.
