Job Description

As a Behavior Specialist (Crisis Support) at Devereux, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with complex needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to prevent and respond to students in crisis. You will also work closely with other members of the treatment team to develop and implement individualized behavior support plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in education, psychology, human services or related field OR at least one year's experience working with individuals with autism and/or severe behavioral concerns.

  • At least one year's experience with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
