Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Dietary Services and/or the Dietitian in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, including food preparation, serving, and sanitation.
  • Manage the dietary department's budget and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Develop and implement cost control measures to minimize waste and optimize food costs.
  • Collaborate with the dietary team to provide exceptional customer service to our residents.
  • Ensure that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as dietetics, nutrition, or food service management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
  • Registration as a Food Service Director in this state.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
