We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated District Nurse to join our team at Lennox School District. As a District Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care and support to students and staff, including administering medications, treating injuries, and responding to medical emergencies.
- Develop and implement health education programs for students, staff, and parents to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent illness.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student health and wellness.
- Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify potential health issues and provide referrals for further evaluation and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student and staff health information.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Valid Registered Nurse License issued by the State of California and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing service as a School Nurse.
- Current healthcare provider Basic Life Support certification.
- Valid California Driver's License.
- School Audiometric Certification desired.
- Application submission.
- Resume.
- Letters of Recommendation dated within one year.
- Upload unofficial college transcripts.
- Proof of completion of Mandated Reporter Training (Personnel Training AB1432) due at time of hiring.
