Therapeutic Care Specialist

We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic therapy team in a school-based role. This position offers a distinctive opportunity to contribute to individual well-being while enjoying the flexibility of a contract role.
Position Details:
- Tentative Dates: August 1, 2024, to May 28, 2025
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Grades: K-12th
- Caseload Size: To be determined during interviews
- Location: Multiple schools
- Software/System Used: ECATS
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Deliver client-centered occupational therapy services, focusing on enhancing functional abilities and independence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation of client progress, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall development of therapeutic strategies.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current North Carolina licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in providing occupational therapy services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
Salary: The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
