Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct annual child health care checks and evaluate children and adults to formulate diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Record patient history, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Consult with physician supervisors and follow orders to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including pelvic and rectal exams, as required.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with appropriate nurse practitioner credentials.
  • Current license to practice in the State of Texas.
  • Certified as a primary care nurse practitioner by a recognized professional organization.
  • Minimum of one to two years of experience in primary care.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
