Job Summary

Fayette County Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified ESL Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an active TN teaching license with an endorsement in ESL education and have experience teaching ESL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement learning plans and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse student populations.
  • Provide and supervise modifications to ensure student success.
  • Benchmark and progress monitor student growth, identifying areas for intervention and support.
  • Consult with other teachers and administrators to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
  • Administer ELPA assessments and analyze results to inform instruction.
  • Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to collaborate with colleagues and share best practices.
  • Conduct parent meetings to communicate student progress and involve parents in the educational process.
Requirements
  • Active TN teaching license with an endorsement in ESL education.
