Job Description

At Fayette County Public Schools, we are seeking a highly skilled ESL Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an active TN teaching license with an endorsement in ESL education and have previous experience teaching ESL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement learning plans and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Provide and supervise modifications to ensure student success.
  • Benchmark and progress monitor student growth.
  • Conduct ELPA assessments and provide intervention as needed.
  • Consult with other teachers and administrators to ensure effective collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Active TN teaching license with an endorsement in ESL education.
  • Previous experience teaching ESL is preferred.
  • Essential skills include completing ESL plans, working in a PLC, and conducting parent meetings.
