Job Summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in the Department of Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation and treatment of pediatric patients with a range of physical and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with physical and developmental disabilities.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Ohio.
  • 2-5 years of experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with pediatric physical therapy in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including Spanish or other languages commonly spoken in the Cincinnati area.
