Nursing Assistant with Compassionate Care

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CNA to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing excellent patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare system.
Responsibilities:
- Assist RNs and LPNs with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents.
- Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patients/residents.
- Provide complete and thorough personal care for patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Take and accurately record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist and accompany the patient in the admission, transfer, and discharge process while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Promptly and consistently respond to patient needs, as well as the needs of family members.
- Complete housekeeping responsibilities, such as utility rooms and diet kitchen, as needed.
- Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), including personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing.
- Provide support to patients and family members, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Current Georgia CNA certification required.
- Active BLS certification.
- Previous patient care experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
