Patient Care Technician- 6 North (Med/Surg)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to provide exceptional patient care in a hospital or nursing home setting.
  • Participate in nursing reports to ensure seamless communication and patient status updates.
  • Deliver thorough and compassionate personal care to patients, including vital sign monitoring and recording.
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Respond promptly to patient and family needs, providing support and comfort.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized environment, including utility rooms and diet kitchens.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • CNA certification preferred but not required.
