Chief Technology Visionary

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Visionary to lead our technology strategy and solution architecture for a business domain. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with technology and business stakeholders to develop solution designs and translate business requirements into technical language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a technology vision and strategy for a solution or business domain using a holistic approach.
- Conduct solution analysis, design, planning, and implementation for the successful development and execution of strategy.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other Architects to shape and align product roadmap and delivery of new features.
- Present complex technical proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct Proof-of-Concepts as needed to evaluate new technologies and approaches.
- Lead the development team during solution implementation.
- Work across multiple projects with a variety of individuals and groups.
- Promote re-use through inner sourcing opportunities.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of solution architecture experience creating solution architecture and high-level design documents, solution decomposition into domains, API design, and managing implementation teams.
- Microservice design experience, including REST-based microservice APIs.
- A master understanding of software design principles and excellent knowledge of major architecture patterns.
- Strong, pragmatic approach to leading architecture and development solutions with a proven record in agile delivery.
- Deep experience in Agile/Lean development methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge and strong experience with AWS services.
- Good knowledge of containerization tools and technologies (RedHat OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency with Java and Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Springboot), SQL, and NoSQL DBMS (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB).
- Good understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD tools.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
