We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Oakmont Senior Living. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by supervising and assisting in the administration of medications.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and distribute medication to residents in accordance with established nursing standards and policies.
- Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians to ensure seamless care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential resident medication and care records.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests by following established safety standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.
- Prefer one year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to work with the elderly.
- Ability to operate MS Office programs and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and residents.
- A competitive pay range of $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits.
