Penske, a leading global transportation provider, is seeking an experienced Fleet Technician to join our team in Saint Petersburg, FL. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive starting salary of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for growth.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet of vehicles. As a Fleet Technician, you will work alongside experienced supervisors and master technicians, learning about our vehicle maintenance processes and cutting-edge technology. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills through Penske's technician training program.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for customers
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as replacing or rotating tires, and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement
  • Work with your manager to learn new skills and improve your knowledge and abilities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, preferably with vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience
  • A valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
