We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Magna International. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing optimal manufacturing processes and methods to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process Improvement: Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  2. Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related problems and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  3. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute projects related to manufacturing process improvements and new product launches.
  4. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to manufacturing team members on new processes and procedures.
  5. Research and Development: Conduct research and development activities to improve manufacturing processes and methods.
  6. Layout and Design: Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
  7. Standard Work: Assist in developing and implementing Standard Work procedures.
  8. Tooling and Equipment: Design, develop, and test tools and equipment to support manufacturing processes.
  9. Cost Reduction: Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  10. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, problem-solving skills, project management skills, and communication skills.
Working Conditions

The work environment is primarily office and manufacturing plant. Must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers, and suppliers.
