Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that all equipment and systems are properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all facilities-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair, with at least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
