We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Specialist to join our team at The Building People. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The HVAC Systems Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in commercial properties. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance and repair of heating, cooling, and environmental control systems
  • Installation, modification, and repair of refrigeration systems, including hermetic, semi-hermetic, mechanical, screw, scroll, and centrifugal units
  • Performing routine assessments, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshooting and repairing HV AC/BAS control issues

This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC theory, blueprints, and engineering specifications. Additionally, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Requirements:
  • HVAC Journeyman License Required
  • CFC Universal certification
  • 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Federal Government experience is a plus
  • Maximo experience
