We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Pulmonology Physician to join our team in Arizona on a locum tenens basis.
About the JobThis opportunity is ideal for a physician looking for a challenging and rewarding experience in a dynamic setting. As a Critical Care Pulmonology Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
The facility has two locations in Nogales and Tucson, offering a range of opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting, utilizing advanced critical care and pulmonology skills
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Manage complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction
- Conduct procedures such as airway management, central line placement, and thoracentesis
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and ensure seamless handovers
- Active Arizona medical license
- BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
- Board certification in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
