We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community DSP (Direct Support Professional) in the Cloquet, MN area.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide support and supervision to residents with mental illness in a licensed CRS home, promoting independent living skills and social boundaries. This role involves assisting with daily tasks, budgeting, medical appointments, grocery shopping, and medication administration.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support and supervision to residents
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as budgeting and medication administration
- Accompany residents to medical appointments and grocery shopping
- Encourage healthy relationships and friendships
- Support residents in achieving their goals and aspirations
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong drive to help others and create positive relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
