About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Carilion Clinic. As a key member of our Imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures for radiological diagnosis or treatment of patients of all ages.
  • Operate highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images.
  • Evaluate, prepare, position, and observe patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience, and safety.
  • Comply with all Carilion Clinic and Imaging policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in the training of students and staff as assigned.
  • Maintain competencies and meet or exceed standards for each skill performed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school graduate or GED and a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology, other associated Imaging technologies, or other approved training in Computerized Tomography.
  • CT experience is preferred, and Fluoroscopy and OR experience are highly preferred.
  • AARRT registry, registry eligible. If not registered in CT, must become CT registered within 2 years of hire date.
  • AHA BLS-HCP required; May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit.
