Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and instructing them on the scanning process
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and scan results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
  • Experience with CT scanners and imaging software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
